Your escort and guide on each tour  – actor, singer, storyteller and writer, Mark Lyon – who was called “a master storyteller” by the Times Colonist of Victoria, Canada has enchanted audiences from Orlando, Florida to Victoria, British Columbia and across the Atlantic in stately castles in Ireland with his original one-man plays and has been featured recounting ghost stories on scores of television and radio programs across the United States. A member of the Screen Actor’s Guild and holding a master’s degree in theatre, Lyon studied at length in a master class with Lynn Redgrave and was honored to have been chosen by Ms. Redgrave to perform alongside her and other notable actors in a special presentation of memorable moments from Shakespeare. For over sixteen years he has conducted Haunted Nevada City historical walking tours in his Victorian gold rush era hometown.  His first book, San Francisco Ghosts, relates the details of over one hundred true tales of ghostly manifestations in  “The City by the Bay.”
